All children in Reception to Year 6 now receive
Southwark funded Free School Meals.
The Local Authority has asked that parents who receive any of the following benefits, still complete an application form for free meals to assist them in calculating our schools’s Pupil Premium funding.
When applying to our school, you will be asked to complete this form, even though you will not have to pay for your child’s meal.
If you receive any of the following benefits:
- Child tax credit (not working tax credit)
- Pension credit
- Jobseekers allowance
- Income support
Please contact the school office for an application form.
Menus are available from the school office or you can click on the link below, so parents can see what will be available for their child.
Pupils are encouraged to take a school meal at lunchtime. The quality of the food has been much improved over the years, there are lots of healthy choices including a daily vegetarian option and wide variety of fruits, salads and vegetables. If you allow your child to have a packed lunch, would you please ensure they are healthy and well balanced, and only include a maximum of one piece of snack item.
Recommended drinks are water or milk and, sometimes (as it is acidic for teeth), some pure juice. Research does show that some coloured drinks and processed foods can adversely affect behaviour.
